US Market Update – Mix data have been released from US and Canada earlier. USDCAD initially tumbled to near nine-month lows of 1.2946 following the data. Since then, the pairing recovered to 1.2985, with short covering prompted by the cooler Canada price data. The dollar edged briefly lower following the mix of data, where personal income rose a bit more than expected, as consumption was in-line with forecasts. EURUSD topped at 1.1421 before falling back into pre-data levels of 1.1415, while USDJPY dipped to 111.86, then quickly reclaimed the 112.10 mark. Wall Street is on session highs, with major indices up 0.4%-0.5% on the session.
